Thank you for visiting my Give Miami Day page! As one of the moms who founded The Key Clubhouse, it is close to my heart. In fact, it was a dream that I shared with many other family members and people living with mental illness that actually came true.

I invite you to make a donation to the Key Clubhouse for Give Miami Day and invest in one of the best mental health programs there is. I say “best” because it is the only program that offers people living with serious mental illnesses endless opportunities for growth in a world where they face stigma and incredible challenges.

I can’t believe how much our organization has grown since we started in a small Clubhouse space in 2010. Today, we have a beautiful permanent Clubhouse at Northside, on the bottom floor of a supportive housing building where 51 of our members live independently stable and affordable apartments with the Clubhouse’s support. And, we have our new Clubhouse in the Kendall area of Miami-Dade. Our next dream is to build a bigger Kendall Clubhouse, with housing for our members, just like at Northside.

Helping people avoid stigma, homelessness, unemployment, and incarceration, things that people living with serious mental illness commonly face, is how The Key Clubhouse contributes to the Miami-Dade community. Please join me in making more dreams come true.
