The Miami Children’s Chorus has provided high-quality singing instruction in Miami-Dade County since 1965. MCC offers children the opportunity to study and perform traditional and experimental forms of choral music. MCC offers a wide variety of performing opportunities for our choristers. Children can participate, by audition, in one of four primary ensembles and older choristers have the opportunity to elect an additional ensemble.
My daughter Kirstyn first joined MCC in 2018 at 10 years old. Since then her musical journey flourished. Once in high school Kirstyn became a very active member, joined the tour in Spain, and also serves as the MCC Chorister Association community service co-chair. Witnessing MCC’s impact on all the choristers and Miami community as a whole has been truly inspiring. MCC sings at many community events including at local nursing homes where the residents cherish our visits. I’ve witnessed these children not only grow year by year and enhance their singing skills, but also gain leadership experience by performing and engaging with the chorister association.
Help us support this amazing Non-Profit Organization which is helping shape the future of Miami one chorister/child at a time!!!!!
