O, Miami builds community around the power of poetry. Through collaborations, projects, events, and publications, we create a platform for amplifying Miamians, investing in a new shared narrative of our city and a more equitable picture of its future.

Like me, O, Miami believes that Miami is the most poetic city in the world.

As someone who has wanted to work with books and poetry since the age of six, I never imagined I’d have the chance to work with an organization that empowers Miamians to be the authors of their own story. Every day, I get to witness poetry transform how people see themselves and their city—and that’s something I deeply believe in.

Join me in raising funds to support O, Miami's unique and dynamic Civic Publishing program. I’ve set a $1,000 goal to sustain and expand the reach of O, Miami's work publishing Miamians in books and unexpected public spaces.

What will O, Miami do with your support? Your donations will sustain our work to facilitate open calls, teach workshops, and engage students to make sure featured poems are as local as possible. O, Miami will also continue to feature student writing in neighborhood- and community-specific public art projects, providing a platform for young Miamians to share their narrative of the city.
