Without appropriate and timely intervention, children with hearing loss are at risk for speech and language delays, poor academic performance, and increased behavioral and social difficulties. The Children’s Hearing Program aims to minimize the impact of childhood hearing loss through early identification, multidisciplinary intervention, and family-centered care. We believe that all children deserve access to high-quality hearing healthcare and to live a life with hearing. We recognize the importance of treating the whole child and their family, and are proud to lead the nation in innovative multidisciplinary care for pediatric hearing loss.
The Children’s Hearing Program is the only center of it’s kind in the state of Florida. At the Children’s Hearing program, we believe that a child’s ability to hear should not be determined by their socioeconomic status, language, race, ethnicity, or access to insurance. Early identification and timely intervention is key to reducing the risks associated with hearing loss.
Through your support, we can continue to broaden our reach to positively impact the lives of children living with hearing loss.
