Our Pine Rockland Initiative program strives to restore and manage pine rockland fragments across both public and private lands within the pine rocklands' range. This includes offering the necessary thought leadership to transcend conventional approaches and preserve this distinctive facet of our natural heritage. An essential strategy involves expanding the footprint of pine rocklands, encompassing the restoration of fire-excluded patches and the recovery of destroyed pine rockland areas.
