Measure Impact. Unlock Opportunity.
Across the United States, Venezuelan entrepreneurs and business owners are building businesses, creating jobs, serving their communities, and contributing to the economy. Yet their collective impact remains largely undocumented.
The Venezuelan Business Power Study was created to change that.
Led by the Venezuelan-American Chamber of Commerce (VACC), with technical support from Datos Group and academic collaboration from Florida International University, this initiative is designed to develop the first national study measuring the economic, social and entrepreneurial contribution of Venezuelan-owned businesses in the United States.
The study is now entering its quantitative phase, expanding nationally to gather reliable data about Venezuelan entrepreneurs and businesses: where they operate, the industries they represent, their level of formalization, employment, access to capital, business networks, barriers to growth, and opportunities for expansion.
Why does this matter?
Without reliable data, the contribution of an entire entrepreneurial community can remain invisible.
Better information can help financial institutions, universities, economic development organizations, nonprofit partners, investors, and other stakeholders better understand this growing business community and develop programs, partnerships, and resources based on evidence.
The study will directly benefit Venezuelan business owners, founders, independent professionals, and emerging Venezuelan entrepreneurs across the United States. Its findings can also benefit employees, families, financial institutions, universities, investors, and local communities connected to this entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Your donation turns stories into data, and data into opportunity.
Funds raised through the VACC Foundation will support the research and public-education components of the quantitative phase, including national participant outreach, survey deployment, data processing and analysis, qualitative validation, and production of a public report.
The results will generate a national quantitative database, a profile of the Venezuelan business ecosystem, a public report and executive summary, and recommendations related to education, mentorship, access to financing, partnerships, contracting opportunities, and future research.
The findings will be made available beyond VACC's membership, ensuring that the research serves a broader public and community benefit.
Help us make the impact of Venezuelan entrepreneurship visible, measurable, and actionable.
