As you may know, I have been working with Pelican Harbor Seabird Station since 2022, when I came on board as a volunteer. Volunteering with PHSS, I saw how impactful the work was, and how special all of the wildlife they treat is. Earlier this year, I joined as a full time staff member, and it has never been more clear to me just how important the community is to making this mission possible! Not only volunteers, but donors that fund our $4000/day operating costs.
This year, I’m raising funds to help PHSS reach their goal of $250,000 on Give Miami Day, and I would love your support!
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, PHSS provides life-saving services free of charge. Over the years, they’ve given more than 44,000 sick, injured, and orphaned wild animals in Miami a second chance at life.
This year alone, they’ve already cared for over 2,200 wild animals, including birds and mammals. As their operating costs grow, the team relies solely on donations to rescue, rehabilitate, and release wildlife.
Your donation will help cover essential supplies such as food, medicine, emergency transport, and clinic equipment, ensuring these vulnerable creatures receive the highest quality care.
