That is how I respond when people speak about the establishment of this fund dedicated to advancing Haitian women entrepreneurs. For me, this is not about prestige. It is about purpose.

In January 2025, during my trip to Ayiti, I witnessed once again why this work matters so deeply.

After one of my talks, a woman approached me with tears in her eyes. She said something I will never forget.

She told me:

That moment humbled me. Because this work is not about me. It is about women like Nanine — brilliant, resilient, visionary women who simply need access, support, mentorship, and capital.
