Paulina Kimbel - Raising FUNDS FOR FOSTER CHILDREN

Over the past year, I’ve been an avid supporter of Florida Foster Care Review (FFCR) as a volunteer, host committee member, and now Board Member. It’s been one of the most meaningful and fulfilling parts of my life.

FFCR provides crucial support to foster children in our community and needs your help. This vital organization fills the gaps in our broken foster care system, making sure every child receives the safety, stability, and love they deserve.

Foster children need what all children do — a nurturing family, a safe place to call home, and a chance to reach their full potential. Yet too many still fall through the cracks:

• 1 in 5 experience homelessness between ages 15 and 18

• 65% change schools seven or more times

• 70% of siblings are separated in foster care

For more than 35 years, FFCR’s volunteers and staff have been a steady source of hope and advocacy for thousands of children across Miami-Dade County.

Our goal is simple: to ensure every foster child in Miami has the resources they need, a path to success beyond foster care, and — most importantly — a forever family to call their own.
