The HOPE Public Interest Resource Center has been dedicated to engaging and inspiring the next generation of lawyers to embrace the importance of public interest and pro bono advocacy for 25 years. Founded in 1998, HOPE provides individualized guidance to help students identify programs, clinics, projects, courses, and opportunities at the law school and beyond. HOPE is a dynamic center, building on topical and timely issues to create opportunities for law students to provide legal services and support those most in need.
100% of donations will go to support Miami Law students through the HOPE Fellows and Miami Scholars Programs. The HOPE Fellows Program provides stipends and ongoing support for public interest-minded law students to work in otherwise uncompensated summer internships at non-profits and government agencies. Through this support, our program assists underfunded and understaffed legal aid organizations and gives law students the opportunity to work for communities and issues they care about by addressing social change and the access to justice gap.

Since its inception in 1997, bringing outstanding students with a passion for public service to Miami Law has been the goal of the Miami Scholars Public Interest Program. Incoming students with exceptional academic and public interest achievements have the opportunity to be selected for this prestigious scholarship cohort program. Miami Scholars play an integral role in fostering a pro bono ethic at Miami Law.
