Jen's Miami Film Lab Fundraiser

In 2021 I founded Miami Film Lab because I wanted to make it just a little easier for local filmmakers like myself to be able to get home grown projects off the ground! 

In just two years and without any full time staff we have: 

- Hosted 4 Filmcraft Session where local filmmakers have shared how they have honed their craft and built their careers

- Brought Cast & Crew together for 8 Monthly Filmmaker Nights to encourage collaboration and discuss upcoming projects! 

- Provided opportunities for 11 Test Screenings so filmmakers can get valuable audience feedback before completing their films

- Set up Development meetings between 22 mentors and 36 filmmakers to help get new projects off the ground! 

- Created Partnerships with the Coral Gables Art Cinema, the Miami Film Festival, The Coral Gables Community Foundatuon, La Tropical Cerverceria, Abre Camino Collective and Cafeteria Films to name a few. 

- Produced 25 events that have brought together 1000+ Filmmakers and Film Lovers

- Distributed 39 short films online that have now been viewed over 3500 times. 

- Helped raise $22,000 for local productions and the salaries of local cast & crew
