About the program:

Using the Group Teen Triple P curriculum, the Family Empowerment Program provides farmworker parents with the knowledge and skills needed to have a more active participatory role in their teenagers life. Parents are taught to navigate the Parent Portal. Our Digital Literacy Class will teach and enhance their understanding of today's technology. We also connect families to community resources such as Mental Health, Financial credit building, and tools to aid children with disabilities.

Sobre el programa:

Utilizando el plan de estudios Group Teen Triple P, el Programa de Empoderamiento Familiar proporciona a los padres trabajadores agrícolas el conocimiento y las habilidades necesarias para tener un papel participativo más activo en la vida de sus adolescentes. A los padres se les enseña a navegar por el Portal para padres. Nuestra clase de alfabetización digital enseñará y mejorará su comprensión de la tecnología actual. También conectamos a las familias con recursos comunitarios como salud mental, creación de crédito financiero y herramientas para ayudar a niños con discapacidades.
