LawWithoutWalls Sprint 2027

Help Us Shape the Future of Law

Founded by Professor Michele DeStefano of the University of Miami School of Law, LawWithoutWalls (LWOW) is a global, experiential learning program at the University of Miami School of Law that brings together students, legal professionals, business leaders, and innovators from around the world to reimagine the future of the legal profession.

Each year, students from universities across the globe collaborate in multidisciplinary teams alongside industry professionals who serve as mentors, guiding them as they tackle real-world challenges facing the legal industry. Throughout the program, students develop creative solutions, gain hands-on experience, build meaningful international connections, and strengthen the professional skills needed to become tomorrow's leaders.

At the heart of LWOW is our annual Sprint, an immersive, international event hosted in a different city around the world. The Sprint brings our global community together in person for an unforgettable experience of collaboration, innovation, mentorship, and cultural exchange. From brainstorming ideas to pitching innovative solutions, participants work across borders, disciplines, and perspectives to challenge conventional thinking and drive meaningful change.

Our mission is to break down barriers between education and practice, foster a global community of forward-thinking leaders, and empower the next generation of legal innovators.
