Free Plastic Give Miami Day

Education is one of the most powerful tools we have for change. I am passionate about the work Free Plastic does to educate local communities about the impact single-use plastics have on their immediate surroundings. Communities are empowered to go beyond merely recognizing the problem to creating solutions. Free Plastic combines education with hands-on experiences that generate awareness through individual and community art projects. By partnering with local organizations Free Plastic integrates environmental advocacy, creative expression, and a solution-focused mindset that challenges us to imagine a more beautiful and sustainable future.

Your support will help us create new products from ocean plastic; educate our community about the realities of plastic recycling and single-use plastics; continue our monthly cleanups that service public spaces throughout South Florida; and to continue building out a network of artists, builders, and makers to continuously develop innovative ways to collect plastic pollution from our local environment and transform it into new reusable, recyclable, and long-lasting products.
