This is the reality for millions living with paralysis due to a spinal cord injury including myself for the last 31 years. I broke my neck when I was 17 which made me a quadriplegic. I was lucky on my journey that I had the support and resources to thrive and live my life to the fullest. However, not everyone in my situation has the same support system or resources.
