What The SFCPA means to me

Hi friends! Today is Give Miami Day and Roger and I wanted to reach out and ask for your support of The SFCPA! They are an organization near and dear to our hearts, where our son Joshua has learned all about drumming. They provide percussion classes and free events in the community for all ages and abilities. What You Are Funding

At the heart of founding the South Florida Center for Percussive Arts, was deciding its location to be West Kendall, a geographic area lacking in free and low cost arts programs serving children beyond the school day. 

They are increasing our capacity to serve more children and families in South Florida! Just this Fall, they started a Samba Drum program at Jack D. Gordon Elementary and are finalizing the details to do the program at a second school. The RhythmFun! program & number of private students has grown exponentially in the last couple of years, the Free Friday Drum Jam has been consistently reaching max capacity numbers and they are being asked to perform and provide drumming activities weekly. 

We need your help to support the demand of their programming. 100% of proceeds will go towards providing instruments/materials for school & after school programs, creating new opportunities for children to study, perform and enjoy music through percussion and a 2024 - 2025 Performance Series at the SFCPA.
