Gitanjali Deen (Ms.G) for Vocal Youth Miami

Gitanjali Deen began her journey with Vocal Youth Miami (VYM) at the age of 9 years old!! Now, at 22 years old, she has the wonderful role of teaching Kindermusik to one of VYM's Branches locations. Through her love of music and helping others, Gitanjali is able to connect with her students from a space of love and oneness. She takes pride in the fact that she is now able to facilitate for others what VYM has facilitated for her. Being a part of VYM has given Gitanjali the space to connect with others, learn, grow, and feel a sense of oneness with her peers. Now that she is an alumnus, Gitanjali strives to create these same sentiments for her Kindermusik students. It brings Gitanjali great joy to know that she is making an impact through working with an organization that she was once a student of!

At Vocal Youth Miami, formerly The Children's Voice Chorus, we are dedicated to empowering empathic, creative young people through the power of vocal music. Our goals are to remove the barriers that prohibit so many deserving young people in Miami to enriching music experiences. 

Funds raised this Give Miami will help us to provide more youth in our community with access to life-changing music education.
