Hope. Help. Support. Three simple words can make a huge difference for a family just finding out their child has a disability.  It could be scary and trust me, as the years go by it still is. The future is not for us to know, but as a family we learn to adapt, persevere, and fight to find our new normal.

Parent to Parent of Miami helps families like mine hang on to HOPE that it will be okay; learn to get the HELP that is needed in order to go through life’s maze; find SUPPORT in other parents who understand and are willing to hold your hand through the ups and downs.

I am forever grateful to have found a community of support and great people along the way who have helped me with my amazing son, David. I want the same for other families who might just now be starting this process.  I want parents to know they’re not alone, they are on a well-traveled path with so many other parents and many amazing stories and achievements to be celebrated.
