2025 Ayiti Community Trust Grants Projects

Real change begins when communities have the power and resources to lead their own solutions. This year, Ayiti Community Trust will provide $43,000 in grants to two organizations, one in civic education, and the other in the environment.

HOPE ON A STRING $18,000

Based in Arcahaie, Hope on a String is anchored in the community and offers alternatives to gang life to young people in Akayè. ACT believes it's important to support institutions that are actively resisting and creating spaces for young people to form strong ties to their community and country. With ACT’s support, they will:

  • Train 200 children aged 5 to 12 on civic values
  • Hold workshops in music, singing, theatre, folk dance and visual arts
  • Implement community activities such as planting trees and cleaning public spaces

KOZÉ AGRIKILTI $25,000

Based in Jacmel, Kozé Agrikilti is a sustainable development organization establishing a honey production center in Kay Jakmèl. With the full support of ACT, the organization will:

  • Manufacture 50 modern hives
  • Install and maintain 20 hives to produce 530 kilograms of honey
  • Train 20 beekeepers
  • Plant and maintain 10,000 trees to support biodiversity

2026 Ayiti Community Trust Grants Projects

In 2026 up to $50,000 in grant funding to Haitian-led community-based organizations in Haiti to support agriculture, environment, entrepreneurship, and civic education. See our 2024 Annual Donor Meeting below for a better understanding of our investment model.

As we build the endowment, your support helps ACT invest in bold local solutions—from sustainable farming and environmental restoration to youth leadership and small business development. Together, we can ensure Haitian communities have the resources and autonomy they need to thrive.

Contribute today. Invest in Ayiti’s future. Build a legacy.
