"As the leaders and role models of Ada Merritt K-8, our 8th graders—have the power to make a lasting impact.

Our school is in real need of updated laptop computers and smart boards so every classroom can give students the learning experience they deserve. Give Miami Day is our chance to come together as a community and make this possible. With better technology, our teachers can create more engaging lessons, and our students can learn, practice, and test with confidence. Every donation — no matter the size — helps move us closer to fully equipped classrooms that support student success.

We kindly ask all Ada Merritt families to participate and to share our campaign with friends, relatives, and anyone who cares about education. For our 8th-grade families, this Give Miami Day is especially meaningful — it’s the last one before your child graduates and leaves their mark on our school. For every $1 you contribute, the PTA will allocate 50% of the funds raised through Give Miami directly toward your class’s end-of-the-year trips or celebrations! It’s important to note that the PTA will NOT use any funds from Give Miami Day for this purpose.
