Please Help Curleys House Food Bank End Hunger!

Curleys House is a food bank that is caring and committed to its goal of eradicating hunger and starvation, which is another benefit. With more than 23 years of experience helping impacted communities, we require a first-rate warehouse facility that is county-owned and has a guaranteed $1 per year lease for the purpose of a mixed-use facility, allowing the non-profit food bank to manage a variety of wrap-around feeding programs countywide as well as a facility that helps us meet the demands of population growth and food insecurity.

Many seniors who participate in our program receive $2 in food stamps each month, so more help is needed. We wish to expand our operations to include a senior center that is state-of-the-art. Our programs desire to include a location inside the warehouse where homeless people can receive job training, dress-for-success training, hair care, new clothing, showering facilities, hot meals, and shelter when they have nowhere else to go. We know and understand that Miami-Dade County needs help providing these vital services. We are called to the task of helping them do more, despite the amount of work that it puts forth. This will encourage sustainability and leverage on behalf of ending poverty and starvation.
