TeamTWF's mission is to enhance the quality of life for those living with paralysis. We believe all people with paralysis can live an active and independent life.

As we celebrate amazing programs in The 305, I'd like to emphasize the profound impact of donating to our book reading program, Next Chapter, that promotes the inclusion of people with disabilities. In an increasingly diverse and interconnected world, fostering inclusion from an early age is not just a choice; it's a necessity for building a better, more compassionate society. Let's change the way we all see one another.

The Next Chapter book program prioritizes inclusion so that we can sow the seeds of empathy, understanding, and acceptance in our future generations. With your help we can achieve the following:

  • Empower Children: Reading is a powerful tool for teaching children about the world around them. By including stories that feature characters with disabilities, we empower children to embrace diversity and recognize the value of every individual, regardless of their abilities.
  • Build Inclusive Communities: Inclusive book reading programs send a powerful message to children that people with disabilities are an integral part of our communities. This fosters a sense of belonging and respect from an early age and helps break down stereotypes and prejudices.
  • Encourage Lifelong Learning: When children learn about inclusion through reading, they carry these valuable lessons with them into adulthood. They become advocates for diversity, equality, and accessibility, contributing to a more inclusive and equitable society.

Help me reach a goal of easing $1,200 so we can visit an additional four classes! It's about teaching our future leaders to celebrate differences, to be kind and empathetic, and to champion the rights of all individuals, regardless of their abilities.
