In the heart of Miami-Dade County, a movement was born.  One rooted in courage, purpose, and the unwavering belief that women belong at every table where decisions are made.

The Florida Association of Women Law Enforcement Professionals (FAWLEP) was founded to unite, strengthen, and support women serving in law enforcement or aspiring to join the field. Many of us have worn the badge, walked the toughest streets, and carried the weight of responsibility with integrity and grace. But FAWLEP goes beyond the badge, it’s about building bridges, mentoring the next generation, and ensuring that every woman in law enforcement has a voice and a village behind her.

From leadership workshops and mentorship programs to community outreach events and youth engagement, FAWLEP is shaping a future where representation, fairness, and service define public safety. We believe that when women lead, communities thrive.
