The mission of the Emerging Young Ladies (EYL) is to help and support young girls to grow into confident young women who lead with character and courage. Targeting girls in 5th through 8th grades, EYL offers an interdisciplinary array of activities, events, and experiences in leadership, civic engagement, the Arts, STEM, and financial literacy. EYL introduces girls to career opportunities in non-traditional fields and encourages their positive development and commitment to lifelong learning.

The pre-teen years can be extremely challenging for young girls and EYL helps girls develop an appreciation for academic excellence, self-confidence, team building, collaboration, effective communication, and community service. Parents are also encouraged to work alongside EYL mentors as they grow and matriculate through the program. Our goal is to offer participants the opportunity to have fun, fellowship with their peers and mentors, and develop fundamental critical thinking skills to aid them as they continue to grow and thrive.
