Help Bethell Raise Support for FJI

Except for a brief stint at a law firm as a corporate paralegal, I have spent my career working in the non-profit law sector. I worked at FJI for 13 years as a project assistant for the Volunteer Lawyers’ Project for the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida screening pro se civil cases for eligibility and referring eligible cases to pro bono attorneys. I returned to FJI in March 2025 as a Paralegal/Pro Bono Manager after working as a senior supervising office administrator with the Southern Poverty Law Center for almost 10 years providing critical administrative and paralegal support for the Miami regional office handling civil rights cases. I am excited to return to FJI and continue to be involved with cases that ensure meaningful access to justice to those who need legal representation but cannot afford it.
