The Alliance for Florida’s National Parks uses the power of philanthropy to support education, exploration, and conservation across Big Cypress National Preserve and Biscayne, Dry Tortugas, and Everglades National Parks.
We support vital programs run by the National Park Service, most critically, the education programs that bring over 70,000 students and teachers into the parks annually on curriculum-based STAEM field trips. For many of these kids, including those in Title 1 schools, it's their first time in the national parks that are practically in their backyards. These education programs rely entirley on privately raised funds and would not be possible without your support.
In addition to education, The Alliance funds essential programs such as:
- Marine Debris Cleanups that protect our coral reefs
- Beach Cleanups in critical turtle nesting sites
- Prescribed burns that eliminate invasive plants and restore the natural ecosystem
