Every story begins with a promise. For Lifted Church & Lifted Academy, the promise is simple but profound: to lift Christ high, to build a home for His people, and to impact souls across our city and beyond. Rooted in faith, family, and future, we believe that when God’s people unite around a vision, miracles begin to happen.

From its earliest days, Lifted Church has held a conviction: the local church is the instrument through which God fulfills His mission on earth. And if that’s true, then the church must be more than a Sunday gathering it must become a home, a base, a sending hub, a place where faith is nurtured, disciples are built, and lives are changed.

Parallel to that calling, Lifted Academy emerged as a ministry extension—a school where children would receive not just academics, but a worldview shaped by Christ, character, and purpose. Previously known as Miami Baptist School, Lifted Academy is now a vibrant ministry of Lifted Church. Lifted Church

From the start, we set out with a foundational promise:

  • To teach children about Jesus,

  • To provide education through a Christian worldview,

  • To build character, compassion, and responsibility,

  • To minister to the “whole child” spirit, mind, and heart. Lifted Church

That promise has guided every step we’ve taken.

Walk through any classroom at Lifted Academy, and you’ll hear the buzz of discovery. A first grader learning phonics, a fifth grader discussing the heroes of Scripture, a teenager wrestling with purpose and faith, all in a secure, loving environment where each child is known, valued, and uplifted.

In the sanctuary on Sunday, you’ll see intergenerational worship: families, teens, seniors, unified lifting the name of Jesus together. In small groups and ministry gatherings, you’ll encounter broken hearts receiving prayer, volunteers stepping up to serve, and relationships forged by the Spirit.

Outside the walls, our impact echoes in stories of transformation

  • A single mother who found stability through our benevolence ministry and now works for Lifted Academy in children’s ministry.

  • A child in a distant nation receiving a shoebox gift that became testimony of God’s love in their life.

  • Communities in Africa, Ecuador, Colombia, and beyond where we partner in education, health, and relief bringing tangible hope, not just words.

These are not mere programs; they are lifelines. When disaster strikes, we respond. When children are hungry, we feed. When the church needs strengthening, we send. Our mission isn’t limited by geography. It’s fueled by love and obedience.

But here’s the truth: faith without structure is fragile and our vision without capacity is hindered. We are overflowing. Each Friday, our staff wrestles with the logistics of tearing down classrooms, packing everything into storage containers, and resetting the space for Sunday worship. The rooms we use for education become the sanctuary and back to classrooms again. It’s an extraordinary act of adaptability, but one born out of necessity not design. And every Sunday,  when the crowds dispurse, the classrooms are once again. set up and prepared into classrom for our students.

Our café, meant for fellowship, has become overflow seating. We operate three services every Sunday just to accommodate attendance. Ministry teams overflow, hallways fill, children’s rooms are pushed to capacity, and every square inch is stretched to its limits.

Growing in numbers is a blessing. But when growth outpaces infrastructure, it becomes a burden. Both staff and volunteers are shouldering physical, mental, and logistical constraints just to keep the mission alive. Every prayer meeting, every service, and every classroom carries the weight of “we do the best we can with what we have.”

We have already purchased property, and we are actively seeking permits to break ground on a new, permanent facility. But until groundbreaking, we must continue to maximize our existing footprint and prepare for what’s to come. Time, funds, and faith converge in this season. To bridge the gap between vision and reality, we’ve launched the Brave 300 Campaign: a call for 300 families and individuals to partner with us for the next three years.

Participants commit to giving monthly between $25 and $300 — for 36 months. These funds go directly into:

  • Renovating our modular classrooms so they’re safe, functional, and effective

  • Building an extension onto our existing building to provide immediate space relief

  • Laying ground work and funding early phases of the new building once permits are approved

Every dollar becomes a brick, every pledge a beam, every monthly gift an act of faith. Brave 300 is t’s a covenant. Together, we step into the story God is writing through Lifted Church & Academy.

The need is urgent and we thank you for becoming apart of the THE BRAVE 300!
