Val for Miami Sound Space

Miami Sound Space is of Miami, for Miami, by Miami. Every song sung at rehearsal is a celebration of the human experience, of liberation, of resistance. 

I've been in Miami Sound Choir for three years now and all of my time spent with the organization has been hopeful, healing, and restorative. I've seen the way that the community that MSS has cultivated consistently shows up for one another and works towards bettering the city at large. Singing and music making have always been integral parts of human expression, and this organization works hard to make those gifts accessible to all who want to take part. Miami Sound Space has brought me community, and has given me the space to grow in my boldness and creative expression.
