Dear Friends, Family, and Neighbors,
Please join us in supporting Friends of the Commodore Trail. We use this five-mile Trail through Miami's Coconut Grove neighborhood frequently to bike, walk, and explore our parks, nature, and historical points.
But the Trail as it is today is challenging to enjoy safely with its many starts, stops, potholes, tree roots, narrow or non-existent sidewalks, lack of safe crosswalks, and shared-use paths.
Thanks to Friends of the Commodore Trail's advocacy, exciting progress is happening toward implementing plans for major Trail improvements over the next 5 years.
The first wave of Trail upgrades will focus on creating a safe route to schools.
If you live in Coconut Grove, if you love to be on the Trail, or if you live somewhere else and care about the movement to create livable cities where cars don't dominate everything, please support the Friends' efforts!
