Sofia's Hope, Inc. recognizes that in the fight against childhood cancer there have to be two simultaneous approaches. Research funding which will have a long term impact and the development of patient and family programs that support those going through the journey TODAY. 

This year, Sofia’s Hope celebrates 10 years of supporting the childhood cancer community!  Together, we have provided a helping hand to 2,000 patients and families annually, by working alongside all the South Florida pediatric cancer hospitals and offer 10 different patient/family programs.  

And our Pediatric Cardio-Oncology Research program is the only one in the nation that focuses solely on pediatric cardio-oncology.  Our program has yielded data that confirms cardio-protective drugs can be used to protect our warrior’s hearts, and our annual research dollars supports dissemination of research and information through the First International Pediatric Cardio-Oncology Conference last fall, a new Cardio-Oncology research journal, quarterly webinars, presentations and more.

Our mission is to spread awareness and understanding of childhood cancer in our community, provide service and comfort to the children and their families, and to provide much-needed support to research the late effects of treatment. Since inception, we have provided over $1 Million in support to the pediatric cancer community.
