Founded in 1989, the Women's Emergency Network (WEN) is committed to supporting all Floridians in accessing reproductive healthcare services, independent of income, zipcode or circumstances.

Our mission is to ensure that every Floridian — regardless of income, zip code, or circumstance — can access the reproductive healthcare they need and deserve.
While Amendment 4 narrowly fell short in 2024, it confirmed what we already know: the majority of Floridians (57%) support access to abortion care. And yet, since May 2024, a near-total abortion ban has been in effect, pushing care out of reach for countless Floridians and creating devastating emotional, financial, and logistical burdens.
For many, the barriers are simply too high to overcome. That’s where we come in.
In 2024 alone, we helped over 4,000 Floridians access abortion care and other reproductive health services — spending more than $1 million to make that possible. But the need continues to grow.
