Nearly a century ago, in the wake of the Great Miami Hurricane of 1926, Unity on the Bay opened its doors for the first time. From that moment, we’ve been a refuge of comfort, hope, and faith—a spiritual home for countless souls seeking meaning, abundance, and a deeper connection to the Divine within.
Just some of our outreach:
✅ Backpack Drive (UOTB’s Program) ✅ Child abuse prevention (Amigos for Kids) ✅ Christmas toys for families in need (UOTB’s Program) ✅ Immigration justice (Interfaith Coalition & FLIC) ✅ Meals for the homeless (Chapman Partnership for Homeless) ✅ Mental health walk (NAMI) ✅ Random Acts of Kindness Day (UOTB’s Program) ✅ Thanksgiving meals (Branches)
➕ over $2.5 million in donations to local charities
At Unity, our mission is simple yet profound: to be an inclusive community serving as a catalyst for spiritual awakening, evolution, and action. We envision a world where humanity is fully inspired by its Divinity and every day, we work toward making that vision a reality.
We believe spirituality isn’t just about what we learn; it’s about what we give back.
But don’t just take our word for it—here’s what members of our beautiful community have to say:
❤️ “Unity is a beacon of light and sanctuary for love, acceptance, prosperity, and hope.” – Marilyn Mimi Diaz
❤️“The diversity is wonderful. I was at home the first time I set foot inside.” – Susan Heller
❤️“Unity has been one of the most fulfilling spiritual homes that I have ever attended.” – Jerard Kelley
❤️ “The song Amazing Grace says it best: ‘I once was lost, but now I’m found.’ Yes indeed, I found myself—who I really am—along with a home and a group of the most loving, caring individuals.” – Russell Charles
❤️“I love this place of meeting and Divinity. The message is about empowerment from the inside out. Our Divinity shines from the Christ within. I truly FLOAT out of there. Now who wouldn’t love that?!” – Linda Rindell
