Since 1940, the University of Miami Hillel offers comfort, community, and leadership opportunities for all students on campus. And for the last 18 months, we have all experienced a 'new normal' with challenges and hardships but that did not stop our team of staff and student leaders to try new things. At UM Hillel we've had the opportunity to welcome more students than ever before, both virtually and on campus this school year.

We are proud of our steadfast commitment to our goals this year and we hope you can support us in making these changes come true:

- Supporting students in a diverse offering of groups, clubs, and micro-communities that feel right for them. These small group offerings include Freshman Leadership Council, Jewish Learning Fellowship, Challah for Hunger and more.

- Embracing the value of Pikuach Nefesh, the primacy of the sanctity of life by helping the 'Cane community continue to navigate and build upon in-person programming as we follow the evolving CDC recommendations and UM policies. We are thrilled to see smiling student faces again while tabling on campus and gathering on Shabbat.

- Continuing the support of our vision to inspire every Jewish student to make an enduring commitment to Jewish life, learning, and Israel through education.
