$5,000 Goal

We were honored and privileged to crown our VERY FIRST recipient of the "Travis Quinn Young Musicians Foundation Award" in Joshua on May 16th 2021. The foundation held 3 prier musical events that generated enough donations to buy Joshua Shipp a new drum set. In honor of Joshua Shipp, we held an event on "Youth Sunday" at Christian Community Church of God that showcased his drumming. We had a spectacular time with the brass band and dancers on this historic evening. Special thanks to Bishop Christoper Lewis, Christian ReƔtegui, Sammantha Shaw, Foundation Members, MIA brass collective, and everyone who has made donations to our mission! It's purely a labor of love and we look forward to continuing this legacy in our community!

Giving Activity

Mission

This foundation was created to commemorate the life and legacy of the late Travis Quinn. In order to honor his legacy, we strive to inspire and support the endeavors of young aspiring musicians that may need financial assistance. Each year we will seek out and/or receive recommendations through music directors, teachers, and sponsors for students between 6th and 9th grade (this is not a permanent range). These students will then be given the opportunity to provide information that would put them in a position to receive a musical instrument, accessories, and/or music lessons with world-class musicians. We hope to provide a communal network of dedicated and hard-working musicians that will continue the beautiful legacy that Travis has left behind. His commitment and dedication to his community and musical endeavors will forever be remembered through the many lives he touched.
