$30,000 Goal

Ten years ago, we started with a simple belief: Miami deserves better transit.

What began as a small group of neighbors has grown into a movement reshaping how Miami-Dade moves. As we celebrate our 10th anniversary this Give Miami Day, we're proud to build on a decade of momentum powered by our small but mighty team... and by our donors who keep us going

Since 2016, Transit Alliance Miami has transformed from local transit advocates into the leading voice for better mobility in our community. We've saved $15 million in transit funding, led the nation's first advocacy-driven bus system redesign, and connected with over 30K residents to ensure every voice is heard in shaping Miami's transportation future.

 Why Transit Matters

Good transit begins the moment you step out your front door. Can you safely walk to the bus stop or transit station? Is there shade when you wait? Can your kids bike to school? These details are the difference between transit that exists and transit that supports your quality of life.

Our work touches every corner of Miami-Dade – from securing unanimous approval for the Better Bus Network that increased ridership by 20%, to protecting bike lanes, to stopping fare increases, saving daily riders $325 per year.

 The Road Ahead

The reality is that without sustained investment in our transit system, the hard-won improvements of the last decade could easily be rolled back. That's why the next chapter of our work is about building a strong coalition that unites riders, residents, and decision-makers to protect what we've achieved and push for more.
