When a child grows up surrounded by violence, their wounds are not always visible. Even if they have not experienced the abuse directly, being exposed to it can still have lasting consequences. At Survivors’ Pathway, we believe that protecting a family also means protecting its children and caring for their future.

For more than 16 years, Survivors’ Pathway has supported more than 15,500 victims of violence and their families, helping them restore their dignity, improve their health, and find hope for a new beginning.

Along the way, we came to understand that healing also means caring for health. That understanding led to the creation of Bienestar, our trauma-informed healthcare program.

This Give Miami Day, we want to focus our mission on children. With your support, we can create a specialized pediatric program to care for their health, help identify potential signs of violence, and provide a safe space where they can heal, grow, and smile again.

Because breaking the cycle of violence doesn’t end when someone survives. It ends when their children can grow up free from its consequences.

Our mission is to transform the journey of those affected by violence by providing safety, justice, comprehensive care, and the tools they need to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.

At Survivors’ Pathway, we support survivors and their families through trauma-informed services that integrate emotional support, advocacy, access to justice, and healthcare. We work not only to respond to violence, but also to break its cycles, protect future generations, and build communities where every person has the opportunity to heal, grow, and live free from violence.
