Sanctuary of the Arts - St. Mary Campus

Established in 1924, St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church was the first African American and African descendant Church in Coral Gables. Today, Sanctuary of the Arts is honored to continue that legacy - not only by engaging communities through arts and cultural programming, but also through socially conscious, site-specific initiatives that celebrate history while envisioning the future. 

As our St. Mary Campus continues to grow through active partnerships with ecumenical networks and an expanding number of community partners and organizations, we continue to listen, learn, and grow - offering music and dance classes, workshops, summer camps, and public programs that are inclusive, accessible, and rooted in place, purpose, and collaboration.
