11 years strong, Page by Page continues to enrich literacy needs for children around the world through the efforts of children who want to make a difference. There are no people with our organization that get paid in any way. All of our efforts are a combination of sweat, caring, and hope. We use your donated funds to pay for boxes, packaging tape, supplies, and transportation costs of gently used books to libraries, homeless shelters, and charitable programs to enrich the literacy skills within our community. We have been operating for over 11 years after a group of 2nd graders decided that all children should own books and chose to make a difference. Since that time, we have organized many book drives within elementary schools and donated over 3,650,000 books to underprivileged children!!!
This year we are partnering with the World Literacy Foundation to donate to their efforts around the world. We are raising funds to be able to present our research at the World Literacy Foundation!!! For the last 11 years, our 501(c)(3) charitable organization has been led by children who feel literacy is an essential skill for all people. These motivated young adults organize and run their own book drives in various schools to reallocate these gently used books to children who do not have access to a large supply of books. After school programs, libraries, charities, homeless shelters, and so many organizations are beneficiaries of these efforts within many underprivileged communities. Student led, this organization teaches children that giving to others is making a difference that they can make at any age!
