Nu Deco brings live orchestral experiences into reach, works directly with students in schools, builds sustained mentorship through Nu Deco NXT, and connects emerging artists with higher education and professional pathways.

Too often, young creators have an inspiring first experience without a clear path to keep growing. Nu Deco helps bridge that gap through education, mentorship, artistic collaboration, and access to professional creative environments.

The Play It Forward journey — five ecosystem stages

01 SPARK | Imagination Series

A first encounter changes what feels possible. Through interactive live orchestral experiences, students discover new sounds, new ideas, and a place for themselves in music.

02  ENGAGE | Connected

The connection continues beyond the concert hall. Nu Deco artists enter classrooms, share the creative process, identify emerging potential, and build relationships through instruction, mentorship, and ongoing engagement.

03  CULTIVATE | Nu Deco NXT

Potential becomes practice, collaboration, and leadership. In a mentorship-driven youth ensemble, young musicians work alongside professional artists, develop original music and arrangements, perform, and grow as creators and community members.

04  LAUNCH | Higher Education

Talent needs a next doorway. Individual guidance, college preparation, and collegiate connections help students pursue advanced study and new artistic opportunities. Relationships with institutions including Berklee College of Music, Eastman School of Music, and the University of Miami help extend those possibilities.

05  THRIVE | Professional Pathways

The journey does not stop at graduation. Emerging artists can build professional experience through performance, artistic collaboration, meaningful employment, and continued involvement with Nu Deco—then help shape the next generation. The next generation does not simply inherit the music. It helps create what comes next. And as students become artists, educators, collaborators, and mentors, the cycle begins again.
