Nirvana Project is more than a nonprofit—it’s a movement of hope, joy, and inclusion. Since our launch in 2017, we’ve dedicated ourselves to breaking barriers and proving that every finish line can be crossed together. Our mission is simple yet powerful: bring happiness, connection, and empowerment to people of all abilities through adaptive sports and community events.

Too often, individuals with disabilities feel isolated, unaware that opportunities exist to experience the freedom and camaraderie of running. At the Nirvana Project, we pair adaptive athletes with able-bodied guides, creating unforgettable moments. Every race is more than miles—it’s a celebration of confidence, friendship, and inclusion.

We strive to cover 100% of the race registration fees for adapted athletes and offer discounts for their guides, ensuring that no one is left on the sidelines. Through strong partnerships with Miami race directors and partners we keep expanding opportunities for our athletes to shine.

The Nirvana Project proudly supports 50+ adaptive athletes, including kids, and over 100 dedicated guides. Together, we’ve crossed countless finish lines—from local 5Ks to marathons, triathlons, duathlons, and even Spartan races. Each finish isn’t just a medal earned—it’s a life transformed.

Mission

Nirvana Project’s mission is to promote health, joy, and inclusion by empowering individuals with physical disabilities to participate fully in running and endurance sports—from 5Ks and 10Ks to marathons, triathlons, and obstacle races. We integrate athletes with disabilities, their families, and friends into the racing community, creating opportunities for connection, confidence, and achievement. Our goal is to be a leading force in advancing inclusion and support within adaptive sports—proving that every finish line is possible when we cross it together.
