Care is more than what we do—it’s who we are. For more than 86 years, we have been a lifeline for Miami’s most vulnerable seniors. For those facing frailty, illness, or memory loss, your generosity provides what matters most: safety, comfort, connection, and dignity.

Today, the need is greater than ever.

Miami’s senior population is growing rapidly, and so are the challenges many face, including chronic illness, memory loss, disability, rising care costs, and limited access to transportation. Every day, seniors and families turn to Miami Jewish Health for safety, shelter, and lifesaving support.

Funds raised on Give Miami Day will help launch the first-of-its-kind mobile clinic for Miami Jewish Health’s PACE program - Florida PACE Centers, the oldest and largest Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) in Florida. PACE provides eligible seniors with coordinated healthcare, social, and support services, allowing them to continue to live safely in their own homes and communities.

The PACE mobile clinic will bring care directly to participants in areas where age, disability, financial hardship, and transportation barriers can make a routine doctor’s visit difficult or impossible. Outfitted to provide preventive, diagnostic, chronic disease management, dental, and behavioral health services, the mobile clinic can help seniors receive timely care where they are, before small health concerns become emergencies.
