JAZZMIA (formerly known as Miami Jazz Cooperative) is dedicated to creating a vibrant jazz culture in South Florida through captivating performances and transformative educational programs.
Since its founding in 2010, JAZZMIA has presented more than 750 jazz performances. Approximately half of these concerts have been free to the public, and the vast majority were free for students.
JAZZMIA is particularly proud of its Jazz at Jackson lunchtime concert series at Alamo Park on the grounds of Jackson Memorial Hospital. Jazz at Jackson, now in its 10th season, provides a welcome respite for healthcare workers, patients, and patient families.
JAZZMIA also programs bi-monthly concerts at the Westchester Cultural Arts Center and other performances throughout the County, featuring Miami’s top professional musicians and talented student groups.
Your support on Give Miami Day will enable JAZZMIA to ensure that jazz, America's original art form, continues to flourish in our community.
