Miami Is Kind has supported/ employed more than 20 young adults with autism since its foundation in 2015. We demonstrate that our population excel at a workplace with adequate instruction and a properly structured workplace.

Miami Is Kind was founded in 2015 by Silvia Planas Prats, a Spanish Business Women that worked at DuPont and that decides to move to Miami, FL looking for a better life for Marc, his eldest son with autism.
Marc has gone a long way in Miami and to give back to the city she created Miami Is Kind Foundation. Miami Is Kind offers more than 10 different flavors of gluten free and vegan macaroons and cookies.
Bakers prepare and pack all the treats that are sold on line at https://www.miamiiskind.org/ to all the USA and in major stores like Whole Foods, Milam's and Graziano's in Miami.
We use store demos to advocate for Autism Employment.
Mission
Miami Is Kind mission is to provide job training and social development to adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. We employ the individuals and provide on the job support to continuously reinforce the social skills and industry job skills essential to keep a job.

In South Florida 36,000 persons with disabilities willing to work are unemployed.
Miami Is Kind is the Bakery for Autism's future. We hire students with autism and DD who have graduated as bakers from baking programs in our community.
Our Program is designed to provide individuals with DD the skills needed to work in Miami Is Kind kitchens and similar industries. Employees and interns will acquire skills, applicable knowledge, develop business skills and receive hands-on training and employment.
