MCT was founded in 1996, with the idea of starting a young persons' theater to expose the world of theatrical arts to as many children as possible. Our policy has always been that no child would never be denied participation due to financial needs. Now 26 years later that dream still lives on with uncompromising inclusionary policies and scholarship practices. MCT is one of the largest and most productive young people's theater in the nation with over 15 shows produced annually.
