As Miami Beach Pride approaches the 16th-anniversary edition of its globally renowned Festival and Parade in April 2024, we remain committed to providing live performances from world-class DJs, musicians and celebrity entertainers; activating niche safe zones including, a Lounge for seniors, a "Garden of Eve" Women's tent, a Trans Pride Pavilion and a Calming Pavilion to serve neurodiverse/disabled constituents. In addition, our dedicated Family Day and Pride Parade offer ALL members of our community, especially those with young children and teens, a safe space to celebrate who they are with joy!

Pride Festivals and Parades are among the places and spaces that have long championed social and self-acceptance, achievements, legal rights and visibility.  By continuing to steadfastly signal to the global community at large through strategic messaging in English and Spanish that the City of Miami Beach is a safe place to live, work and play, Miami Beach Pride is well-positioned to serve as an essential platform to encourage conversation, celebrate LGBTQIA+ diversity and self-identity, and provide a welcoming space for LGBTQIA+ residents and visitors to live their lives in the sunshine instead of the shadows to further progress towards true equity and acceptance.

Creating a safe and welcoming space to foster camaraderie and community among LGBTQIA+ humans their friends and allies is central to Miami Beach Pride’s mission, vision, and values.  For the past 15-years, as the largest Pride festival in the South East, we have fully committed to offering the festival for FREE to serve the most marginalized and underserved in our community including transgender and non-binary individuals, members of our BIPOC communities, constituents with disabilities, elders, youth, and those who live at the intersections of these many complex identities. We still plan to provide incredible entertainment and the excitement and professionalism you expect at Miami Beach Pride in April 2024 for FREE even though security and insurance costs have ballooned considerably.

YOUR generous support will go some way to offset the considerable price tag of 1.6 million dollars in operational expenses for the festival and will enable us to continue and increase the visibility of LGBTQIA+ artists to elevate their voices individually and collectively and also support LGBTQIA+ scholarships for exceptional youth leaders in Miami-Dade through our Angels Program in partnership with the Point Foundation (the largest LGBTQ scholarship-granting nonprofit in the U.S.).

By celebrating and learning from our rich Pride history of cultural and social transformation. By being aware of who we are, and where we have come from. By acknowledging our past struggles, taking a stand and rising up, WE can inform our present and future, making it better and more accepting for LGBTQIA+ generations to come.

Mission

Miami Beach Pride brings together members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community, their friends, allies, and supporters in celebration of the unique spirit and culture of the LGBTQ+ community. It is our mission to envision, plan and execute a roster of events and activities that are as diverse as the community itself, including activations centering on entertainment, events, arts, culture and civic and social engagement.
