The mission and purpose of Miami Dade County PTA/PTSA are to be a powerful voice for ALL children, a relevant resource for families and communities, and a strong advocate for education for each and every child. We serve over 300 local units comprising more than 46,000 members, and support the fourth largest school district in the nation, with over 340,000 students.
Our County Council is a constituent association of the National Parent Teacher Association, the oldest and largest volunteer child advocacy association in the nation. We are a registered 501 (c) (3) association under the umbrella of Florida PTA, and our EIN is 23-7101302.

PTA's mission is to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
