Founded by artists for artists in 1998, Locust Projects is a nationally recognized alternative art space and incubator of new art and ideas, filling a vital role in Miami's arts ecosystem for artists and visitors alike. Over the past 27 years we have supported 500+ local, national and international artists in making IMPOSSIBLE IDEAS AND BIG DREAMS POSSIBLE by helping them to experiment on a large scale pushing their practice in new directions and making breakthroughs in their careers.

Our mission in motion is fueled by local and national grants and vital donations from you! 

Admission to Locust Projects has been and will always be FREE.

Gifts of $1,000 and above are recognized as donations to the 2025-2026 INCUBATORS supporting our core programs.

Your gift helps us sustain the work we do to provide artists with unique opportunities to experiment on a large scale and create ambitious, large-scale new work in our industrial warehouse in Little River.
