Live Arts Miami

For over 36 years, Live Arts Miami (LAM) has brought people together through extra/ordinary live performance. As one of Miami’s leading presenters and producers, LAM connects audiences with visionary artists from around the world and nurtures the creativity of local artists and the broader community in South Florida.

With people at the heart of our work, we champion unexpected experiences that push creative boundaries, inspire curiosity, spark joy, challenge perspectives, and foster raw human connection.

THE PEOPLE WE SERVE:

STUDENTS & EDUCATORS From K–12 classrooms  to  Miami Dade College campuses, we bring students and educators closer to the arts through live performances, hands-on workshops, and meaningful encounters with local and touring artists. Our programs complement classroom learning, foster cultural exchange, and explore themes such as environmental sustainability and mental well-being.

CREATIVES Great art needs room to grow. Through artist residencies, educational programs, Works in Progress Series (WIPs), and monthly creative gatherings like Live Arts Labs Alliance (LALA), we give local artists, visionaries, dreamers and inventors the space, resources, and support to experiment, take risks, and expand their creative capacity.

COMMUNITY We bring unexpected, extraordinary performances to familiar and unfamiliar spaces, creating shared experiences that connect people across cultures, neighborhoods, and generations - inspiring curiosity, connection, and a sense of belonging.
