Live Arts Miami

This Give Miami Day is a first for us, and we’re celebrating what we’ve always stood for: art that moves through people, not just past them.  

For 35 years, Live Arts Miami has been shaking up stages and building community through bold, boundary-pushing performances - all with one goal: to make Miami a place where creativity thrives and everyone has access to it. 

Our debut on this platform is for the local artists – the ones imagining, challenging, and redefining what Miami can be. 🌴   

We’re raising $5,000 to launch the next chapter of the newest program: the Works in Progress Series (WIPS). This creative lab gives Miami artists space to take risks, test ideas, and share the messy, magical middle of making something new. Here, “unfinished” is the point. 

WIPS offers stipends, mentorship, and a stage for Miami’s boldest creators to explore freely - no commercial pressure, no gatekeeping - just community, courage, and the spark of what’s next.  

And we’re already in motion: this fall, we selected three WIPS artists who will share their works on December 13 at the Koubek Center – and, of course, you’re invited. 

Your gift today helps ensure we can do it again in Spring 2026 and beyond, with even more Miami artists stepping into the light.
