Le Jardin Community Center, Inc. is a nonprofit early childhood education organization proudly serving children and families throughout Homestead and Florida City, Florida. Since opening its doors in 1986, Le Jardin has grown to nine Centers and one Administration Office, employing approximately 375 dedicated professionals and providing year-round services through Head Start, Early Head Start, Voluntary Pre-K, School Readiness, and Parenting Programs.

Each year, Le Jardin serves more than 1,000 children from birth to age five and their families, many of whom face significant economic challenges and food insecurity. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our mission is to improve the quality of life for children and families by providing high-quality early childhood education, comprehensive services, and meaningful opportunities for growth in a safe, caring, and nurturing environment.

This Give Miami Day, we are raising $100,000 to support Le Jardin's innovative Hydroponic and Aquaponic Garden Initiative! 🌱

This transformative project aims to combat food insecurity by increasing access to fresh, nutritious, locally grown produce while creating state-of-the-art educational opportunities for the children and families we serve.

Through hands-on learning experiences, our children will have the opportunity to explore sustainable agriculture, environmental science, nutrition, and the importance of healthy eating habits from an early age. At the same time, families will gain valuable knowledge and resources to support healthier lifestyles and greater food security.

By integrating innovative agricultural technology with early childhood education, we are not only growing fresh food—we are planting the seeds for a healthier, more sustainable future for our entire community.
