$20,000 Goal

Our goal this year is to improve the following areas throughout the school's campus:

Transforming the Outdoor Pavilion Area

The outdoor pavilion is a central gathering spot for recreation, physical education, and social activities. However, its current rocky surface poses safety hazards and limits use for structured games. Replacing the rocks with a smooth paved surface will create a safer, more versatile space for sports like basketball and four square, as well as for school events and community gatherings. This upgrade will enhance both functionality and appearance, benefiting students, staff, and families alike.

Expanding Covered Areas on Campus

Limited covered spaces around entrances, walkways, and gathering areas make it difficult for students, staff, and families to stay comfortable during rain or extreme sun. Expanding these covered areas will provide much-needed protection during transitions, drop-offs, and pickups. These additions will also allow outdoor learning and activities to continue in varying weather, creating flexible spaces that extend classroom experiences and improve daily comfort.

Upgrading Gym Equipment to Enhance Extracurricular Activities

The gymnasium is a hub for fitness and extracurricular programs at Learning Links School. To better support student health and engagement, we plan to update and expand gym equipment, including ellipticals, treadmills, stationary bikes, free weights, and medicine balls. These additions will create an inclusive, motivating fitness space that accommodates diverse ability levels. Modern equipment will strengthen our physical education program, enrich after-school offerings, and promote lifelong wellness habits—supporting the physical and emotional growth of every student.
